Decorating some trees

A fairly recent tradition has started in Austin where people decorate random trees around the city for Christmas. We thought it would be fun to decorate some of ours and give a little Christmas spirit to the site.

The crew has been braving the cold temps trying to get this ready for a foundation pour by end of month.

Construction has begun!

We were so excited to finally see some movement happen on the lot! We have been patiently awaiting this moment for a long time!

We initially made the first offer on this lot back in April of 2012 and closed on it in Sept of 2012. We had started the planning & design process soon after but decided to put the project on hold for two reasons. One, because of a conflict with the ending of our lease vs. the construction completion. (Didn't want to move to another place for 6 months). And two, money.....gave us some extra time to save.

We are anticipating to move in by next May or June!
